Welcome to another Hvar island adventure. Situated in the middle of the Adriatic sea and accessible by ferry from few ports, Hvar is known as a place which during the summer has about 5 times the winter population!
It’s youthful in spirit, but ancient in its origins (Romans called it Faros). The old stone alleys are filled with music, colourful cocktails and scents of fish restaurants.
We come back to Hvar just as it slows down a little, in early autumn. It’s still warm and sunny (the sunniest place in all of Croatia). We begin at Hotel Park in Hvar, where Alona and Roee got ready. After a quick session in the narrow stone alleys, we come back to hotel’s lush gardens for the intimate ceremony and dinner reception. The night ends with an ancient spectacle — old fishermen’s boats (“gajete”) had their own little performance, with light, music and all.
