Scrolling through these — as the photographer — overwhelms me with memories of all the happy, emotional and hectic times that we lived through by the sides of our couples during past years.
It was tempting to publish this in the usual form — a semi-random collection of images — but I wanted more. I decided to deconstruct each collection and re-synthesize the images as a brand new story.
This is a figurative story of our perfect wedding, if there is such a thing. Witness how things develop from one morning to the next and notice how expressive people get when the big day comes.
I never actually published a ‘best of‘ selection before, so for my first one, it’s a bit longer retrospective than the title would suggest; it’s a couple of last years rolled together. Enjoy!
