I always dreamt of being a Korcula wedding photographer… and it seems dreams do come true! There hasn’t been a year since when we weren’t invited to shoot an elopement or an intimate wedding on Korčula!

Korčula is a bit magical, even though I can’t put my finger exactly on what it is. It’s probably a mixture of ancient Greek culture that took root on Korkyra, old Dalmatian architecture, stunning beaches with crystal clear sea, the fact the island is still pretty undiscovered, has friendly and relaxed people and amazing food & wine.

I do not mention wine casually. Korcula is located just off an peninsula of Pelješac which is among most important wine-growing hills in whole of Croatia. Korcula has the same tradition since Greek times — they sure knew how to pick a spot to grow their grapes.
Greeks, of course, wouldn’t be worth their salt if they didn’t also introduce olive trees, which again thrived producing widely appreciated and delicious olive oil. Olive trees here are treated like the royalty they are!

Beaches here are also stunning! The crystal turquoise sea is teeming with life and each bay appears to be in contest with the others in producing more vibrant blues, greens and turquoise hues.

There’s a hundred small islets around Korcula and never a drop of rain, so you can visit them all day long!

Now, put an elopement or intimate wedding in the midst of all this and both romance and beauty will just bloom! It’s Korcula wedding photographer’s dream!
There’s so many tiny gems lying around Korčula — venues off the beaten path that are only even more hospitable for it!

We’ve come to shot on Korcula many times and it’s impossible to pick favorites. So, it’s time to share more of our work. Following are elopements and weddings from the town of Korcula, Vela Luka, island of Proizd, islets of Mala and Vela Stupa and a stroll through the old town of Korcula on a prewedding session.
