As a wedding photographer with a pretty colourful style (can’t you tell?), I was always fascinated with far-away, exotic cities which seem to have the rainbow flowing through their veins, splattering vivid colours all over their façades and streets.
Lisboa (Lisbon) was high on my bucket list of places where I wanted to shoot for this very reason. Not only is it colourful, but the beautiful traditional azulejo tiling covers so much of the city, creating this amazing kaleidoscope of colours and reflections which we couldn’t get enough of.

Why am I telling you all this? So you understand why I was beyond excited while I was arranging the details for the shoot with Linda and Francisco!
The city surely delivered on its promise of a warm climate with warm people, but when we met our couple, we knew this was going to be something special! We instantly clicked and after a few introductory minutes we felt like shooting old friends. They both made our jobs easier because genuine and honest emotions were bubbling just underneath their surface, which we happily recorded time after time.
